Fits MacBook (White)

I have an older MacBook and was a little unsure if this model of security cable would fit my laptop, but I have used the Kensington 64069F MicroSaver Notebook Lock and Security Cable with success on my travels around Europe . I previously bought a laptop lock and security cable with combination lock at a hardware store and took it with me on an international trip. Strong Lock

Bought four of these locks for various home computers, laptops and desktops. It took some time to coordinate the position of the locking/retaining pins to get the lock to fit the first computer's docking slot, mainly due to the ease with which the inserted key turns and how easy it is to unintentionally unscrew the locking mechanism . -Alignment so it no longer inserts correctly. A security gift that seems to work well

I bought this as a preventive measure to help the local church better secure the new computer. This was my first time buying and installing such an item and to my surprise the installation wasn't that difficult. I don't think the sticky pad is meant to stay securely in place as a permanent security device or anti-theft solution.
