Horses don't eat it.

Unfortunately my horses do not eat this product at all. If the company has any tips on how to make it more palatable to horses please let me know. Otherwise it's a complete waste.

Good product. Feeding can take a few days (to reach the recommended amount) for the horses to get used to it, but then they seem to like the place sure to inflate.Much easier to manage!

Velactin replacement

This is a replacement for discontinued velactin, I mixed it with velactin for 4 days and now it is 100% and my horse eats it with no problems. Still looking for 100% horse oil, Velactin was fantastic.

Pros
  • nice thing

Highly recommended for your horse's joint health

I use this in my horse's feed once a day along with Kentucky Performance Joint Armor and his mobility and joint pain have improved dramatically. Highly recommended if your horse suffers from sore joints.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Modern

Saber says no! for equestrian sport

My 10 year old mare, average in "affectionate", doesn't even go near him, even a little bit into any sweet food - unfortunately she doesn't touch him... Bad too, because it looks like a good product, but she will have to look for a more acceptable omega-3 supplement.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • something different

Horses love it for sport

I prepare liquid feed for my horses every evening. Alfalfa cubes, beet pulp, adult feed for 7 liters of water. I add a little to the mix and the horses eat every drop. I originally bought this for my horse with COPD, but now I'm giving it to everyone on the recommendation of my vet to add omega-3s to their diet. I'm ordering my fourth bottle tonight and I've found they love it in their water buckets which means they drink even more water. Very happy with this product. If you don't eat, send me!

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Thin

Sea sources of omega-3 fatty acids and very low omega-6 fatty acids. The sea source was important to me because it is metabolized differently. It is primarily an omega-3 supplement with a very low omega-6 content (only 10-20% from the flax source alone). I also wanted to avoid granules or more processed/extruded products for better absorption. I'm on my 2nd gallon post. He gets 2 ounces (training). My horse takes it mixed with beet pulp and feed. Feeding it is a bit messy but we just mix it upโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black
