I used this cable between Kenwood KMR-555U and Kenwood KCA-RC55M. I would recommend buying this cable instead of the shorter one. I got both, but for $10 more it was a lot better value and gave me more room to run the wire.

I wanted to say that this is exactly the cable I was looking for. It can also be used with Kenwood's rc-55mr marine remote control. I'm not sure if I got the model number right. But it's an 8 pin cable and it works fine with my remote. "Y" connectors also work as well. This fully integrated my Kenwood system into my cigarette boat.
