Love it, make sure all connections are in place.

Love it, make sure all connections are secure or it will overheat! Once that's done, the stereo slides down my street pretty damn well. Enough power for two 6-1/2" speakers and two 6"x9" speakers!

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

2017 Street Glide for multi-channel amp

Perfect size for my 2017 Street Glide. Installed directly above the head unit on a storage shelf. If you want to use this with your stock system you will need to use a line level converter and cut the stock wiring harness. Just know that you should replace the stock speakers. When adjusted correctly, this thing spins! I have to say I don't use a standard heater block or speaker. Do your research and make sure you are prepared. I love it.

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Having trouble

small, good performance, quiet

I bought this KAC-M3004 4 channel amplifier to replace a 20 year old class A/B amplifier that had bad connections. I wanted something smaller than the old amp and this class D amp is tiny. This gave me a lot more room under my seat. After watching Derek V's YouTube video and seeing a good price for Revain, I was convinced. This was my first Class D amp and I don't hear any switching noise or junk. When you turn up the gain controls you can hear white noise, but with a gain level consistent with

Great little amp for my needs

Not being familiar with such a small amp I made the mistake of ordering a 4AWG install kit because that's all I've ever used. Well I was far from it! After doing a little research and calling KENWOOD (they had no idea and referred me to Crutchfield) I found it on the Crutchfield website. 10 AWG is enough to connect this amplifier. The power/ground pins are so small that you can't install much more than 10 AWG unless you have special connectors that you need to accommodate. I am very happy with…

Small amp that might be good

I have a 2006 Colorado and decided to upgrade the sound system. I used a JBL Concert 601CF and a Kenwood DPX792BH deck. After installing the deck, I found that the system didn't have enough power to move the speakers. So, after a long search, I decided on this amp. I needed something small that would fit in the dash to save installation time. The amp did not disappoint. It fits right into the base below the air conditioner controls to keep you cool. It also moves the speakers quite well. I'll…

Small compact marine amplifier.

Small compact marine amplifier. This amp has doubled the sound power of the head unit, making it easy for me to listen to music at high speed on my Harley. I have a pair of MTX Thunder 6 1/2 speakers and I get full stereo sound with minimal distortion. I installed a Kenwood amp on a 2013 Streetglide that I already installed an aftermarket head unit in. Installation of cladding in place. I made a bracket to keep the amp away from the main unit to help with heat dissipation. I also used 10 gauge…

Pros

Good compact amplifier

How times have changed. I have a 4 x 60w power amp from about 20 years ago that is about four times the size of this little marvel. This little booster was small enough to hide behind the center console in the dashboard, leaving more room. One thing I could improve is to make the wires in the speaker harness bigger - 14 gauge should be the minimum. This amp has some nice features like switchable adjustable crossovers. Something I didn't expect from an amp of this price. The sound quality is…

There's a good chance I'll buy another one of these soon.

I don't know why Revain lists this as "Kenwood 22154656" instead of the actual model number KAC-M3004, but if you're wondering, this is it. I am very happy with this amp. I also have a KAC-M1804 and not sure if these are parallel models or if 3004 replaces 1804 or something, but if space isn't your *only* concern I strongly recommend the slightly larger M3004 - it is something like 1/2 inch more in each direction for more power, bridges, filters, variable crossovers, 2 ohm stability. That's a…

Small amp, BIG power!

This little amp made me smile! I didn't have much faith that the rating numbers were correct, but it turns out this little bad boy is underrated! I have a SMD Amp Dyno and decided to try this amp in bridged 2 channel mode. That surprised me! @ 4 ohms (bridge) - 150W x 2 @ 14.4V Measured power into 4 ohms (bridge) - 192W x 2 @ 13.93V "Peak Output Power" - 600W Measured RMS dynamic power into 2 ohms (Bridge) - 374 + 357 = 731W!
