Kenwood KCA-RC35MR Remote Control: Compatible with KMR700U/550U/350U Models Review

Says to order this with an 8 pin cable for easy connection. Got it as a Christmas present and was going to install it on our boat last week only to find out it had to be hardwired. Went to a local company that works with Kenwood and installs audio to see if they have an adapter for it. They looked at the remote and said it was a repair and should be 8 pin! As this was ordered 8 months ago I cannot return it!
