Fits under seat tray in JKU Wrangler

I use this in the underseat mount in my JKU Wrangler and it works well as a filler bass but not quite as deep bass subwoofer. If you are realistic in your expectations, this works well. If you're looking for bass, "two 12s in the trunk". You will be disappointed. I have a modern Kenwood Excelon head unit, 2 Kicker tweeters and 4 Kicker Mopar 6.5" speakers (driven by a Kenwood 600w marine amp) with this powered subwoofer and I have a 'quite Got good" sound, and that's the best I could have hoped

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Approximately

Great addition to stock 2004 Taco system

Bought these to replace existing Kenwood self powered subwoofers which I received back in 2007. They are much thinner and fit even better under the driver and passenger seats. I recommend buying Burton Acoustix Series 9 - Ultra High Density Soundproofing Panels, 200kg/m3 - Designed by Sound Engineers - Good for soundproofing and acoustic treatment - 12" x 12" - Soundproofing 5 pack, you can score squares on this one Page received and more 2 -3 under the speakers. Buy the rubber pads sold at Ace

The speaker failed about a month after purchase.

Great sound (out of the box), easy installation, great kit (almost everything you need except tools in the box). Reason for giving 1 star: About a month after purchase I noticed a flapping noise, at first I thought it was just a piece of paper or bag being moved by the subwoofer but it wasn't. Something seems to have come loose in the speaker. At the same time, the guarantee process is not satisfactory. After a month the Revain seller won't return the product so we have to deal with Kenwood'sโ€ฆ

Good Value - Subwoofer Boxes and Enclosures

Honestly this is a good buy for the money. But if you get it, make sure you install/test it pretty quickly. My first made a little rattling/fluttering noise when it hit a certain volume or frequency range. It's almost like pulling a spring loaded doorstop and letting it "Brbrbrbrbrbrbrbr" lol. After contacting the seller they sent a replacement the next day which I thought was pretty cool of them. Props to the seller for good customer service. So to the actual unit. It's a bit heavier than itsโ€ฆ

Disappears under the passenger seat

This is my second device. The first was DOA. Installed on a 2017 CR-V EX with stock head unit + linear converter. The sound is really nice, powerful enough for my taste and I still have room to add more bass if I want. Plug it right next to the main connector. - Wiring harness with a long power cable to connect to the battery from the cab and with a connector to disconnect and use your own power line cable. I use 8 gauge power wire, it's easier to route from the engine bay to the passengerโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Car radio
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Better than SW-11 but maybe a little deeper in the bass

I originally bought the KSC-SW11 which is smaller and has less power. I wasn't happy with it so I went back and got this one. This model definitely has more power and the bass is more pronounced. It filled the lower music spectrum well without overwhelming the rest of your system. However, the reproduced bass is still a bit muddy even when I set the crossover to 50Hz, or maybe I'm asking too much. The case is solidly built with a durable speaker grille that won't deform, even with moderateโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Subwoofer
Cons
  • Some minor things

Ideal for DIY or shop installation. The hardest part was finding and accessing my car's firewall, but it depends on the car. For the 12v lead I had to crimp the connector to connect it to the battery - I used a spade type but a ring type would work too. I used a factory head unit and didn't need a line out converter. I attached the device to the carpet under the passenger seat with Velcro. I used two quarter inch split wires to hide the colored wires, that ran under the carpet - you could useโ€ฆ
