I used 6 of these to remodel a bathroom. I use them for towel hooks and bath towel hooks instead of rods or rings. To me they are clean and sharp. They hold towels well and still stick firmly to the walls. My contractor screwed them directly into wood-backed drywall, so I don't know how glue or plastic anchors work. I have since bought 6 more to use on the back of the door and in another bathroom remodel.

I ordered two of these sets. One silver, one black. Both came without the parts needed for screwless installation, which is why I ordered them. They would be ok if I used screws but they are not what I needed. I contacted the seller who agreed to send the missing parts but he did not reply. It's been a few weeks and I don't have the parts so they're useless to me. The seller does not speak English well. I had a few lower quality hooks in the old bathroom that were stuck on with some sort of 3M foam sticker and never had a problem with them. The supplied adhesive is bad bad bad as it doesn't stick well to the metal bracket and surface (like the glass shower door in my case). I went for the required 48 hour cure and it basically showed up. The glue stuck well to the glass shower door, but the glue didn't stick to the metal bracket at all. After the mount came loose, there was no glue stain left on the metal mount, which means there is a problem with sticking to the metal. I have other products that don't require drilling that also…

We bought two sets of these hooks - one in satin nickel and one in black for our bathrooms. Specifically, we got them because we didn't want to drill into our doors as they are shaker style and thinner where we would need to drill. My husband feels comfortable and works as a site manager.
