I bought it in August 2017. It is never washed in the dishwasher, I wash it by hand. The lid doesn't appear to be very well made, as a small round piece of plastic has broken off in the middle and the lid can no longer be opened very easily. I thought it would take over 4 months; especially since I am very careful with my pan because I want it to remain beautiful stainless steel without scratches.

This carafe keeps drinks hot for longer. Even if I make myself three and a half cups, the last half of the cup is still hot when I get it.
