After receiving the shuttlecocks I played with my kids for the first time last weekend. I was expecting better condition, more strength and durability. After my first game the springs started to loosen. I haven't tested them all, but this is definitely something I wasn't expecting. The quality is poor and I have requested a refund to no avail.

Within 5 minutes of use these bird feathers (real feathers btw) were completely broken and spoiled (won't fly again) by our 10-14 year olds who fight hard but take good care of them. their sports inventory. Maybe it's just not for kids. But all they did was smack her back and forth for pizza.

The birds are pretty stable, we played a few times before the features started breaking so can't complain. While these birds should be good for windy weather, I can't really tell the difference between windy and non-windy weather. It did take a long time to ship due to COVID-19 but that's understandable, overall I think it's a steal and a lot of fun to play with.

While playing badminton I bought these cheap shuttlecocks to play with my family in my backyard. They hold up well and are excellent for this purpose (family friendly). I wouldn't go as far as using them for indoor or competitive play because the springs are too hard. I don't think they can withstand a volley of punches. For outdoor games they are good, but for indoor games I would prefer your branded competition shuttlecock.

Bought these birds after reading all the positive reviews. We were so disappointed when we went to play! I don't know if it's goose feathers or something, but when you hit a bird it flies down with a sinking rather than a slight motion and flies over the net. Try not to misshoot as longevity suffers badly from bad shots. A good ball for general players who have recently made the switch from synthetic to spring as it is quite durable and performs well. Maybe try inducing water vapor as directed on the packaging, I regret not having tried it. The feathers are a bit dry, try to moisten them before playing (the procedure is indicated on the package). These are great. I've never used a real shuttlecock before. I've only used plastic bags so far. I'm not a badminton fan but I heard about it and was dying to try real goose shuttlecocks. Little did I know they were handmade and not plucked from live geese. All feathers look perfect. I am amazed at the detail in the craftsmanship and the level of skill it takes to make it by hand. I couldn't bring myself to bring one of them into the yard and hit him. All I know is that it will destroy him…

My teammate and I are intermediate players. We played a few games with these shuttlecocks and were immediately disappointed with their slow speed. No matter how hard we hit, those shuttles still don't go all that far. Luckily, my teammate had another box of Wilson shuttlecocks so we could switch to them, which had an immediate impact on the speed of the game. Another problem we noticed was that the springs broke very quickly. Every shuttlecock lost a feather or two towards the end of each game.
