The top case ring broke and we thought we'd have to buy a new key fob when all we needed was the case! It's fairly easy to migrate old components to the new shell and so far it's held up well and all features continue to work. Inexpensive solution :)

My granddaughter is so excited because it worked. The clip detached from the original remote but still worked. We were able to replace the guts and it worked great.

It worked out in the end. The key fob is slightly thicker than the original key fob. The difference is pretty small to be honest, but there is a difference. When I threw the guts of the original into this keychain, it didn't work very well at all. (The lock button worked on every 4th or 5th try, even when I was really close. The unlock button didn't work at all. I tried a few different things, but what worked in the end was the new key fob's inner rubber lining not usable but with a rubberized…
