Fantastic Ford Compatible Key Fob Replacement Housing Smart Keyless Entry Remote Housing

These are amazing devices! Two of my keyless fobs from my Ford manufacturer had button problems and didn't work - they wouldn't lock or open and one automatically opened the tank while driving = not fun! My local Ford dealer wanted $250 for a replacement fob, plus $50 for "programming" and + taxes = over $300. When I saw that the problem was simply that the original key fob's buttons had internally deteriorated, I looked at these replacement case parts and found that they were an exact match…

This key fob case is just what I needed to replace my broken Ford key fob.

I have to say I am impressed with the quality of the Ford key case. The only thing it doesn't have is the Ford badging, and that doesn't matter. One of the seals on one of my remotes in the key fob broke off, seems to be a common problem. I got the case, gutted the old key fob and put this in and it's like new. And it looks branded and all the chrome on my broken key fob is worn away. It was nice to see that there is a good quality third party keychain. It also comes with a key that can be cut…

Great value for money but be careful about a few things. See update.

Update: After about 1 month of use, the lock button stopped working. It will not click or click to render the device unusable. When I bought 2 I switched to the second one but I'm afraid how long it will last time will tell. Overall, this item cannot be faulted due to the cost. I bought two of these and instead of paying $160 for each replacement and maybe more for programming, just change the internal charge to $15 each. It's great, isn't it?
