Great, I would definitely buy again.

The packaging looks very high quality and professional. I replaced the Macos keycaps with the included Windows keycaps. As for the keys, my Enter key is a bit soft, but the other keys are very nice and consistent. The spacebar is well balanced. Good job for a keyboard in this price range. After a week of use, the only downside is the battery capacity. 3 days Bluetooth triggers a low battery warning. The built-in battery, durable mode switch and lighting effects are definitely pluses. However…

Bluetooth problems with accessories

I like the key side of the keyboard, the blue switches are easy to use. Bluetooth could not establish a unique connection and stayed connected. Certainly some kind of incompatibility between devices, which is somewhat surprising with a ubiquitous interface like Bluetooth. It appears to be a "Mac First" keyboard as the keyboard comes with Mac keys and PC keys are a possible mod that includes keycaps. But with Win 10 I only managed to recognize it twice, after which it breathed its last. I had…

I really wanted to like it

I tried different keyboards on paper and for the price this one seemed very good. I don't want to pay $200 for a keyboard just to get a backlight + bluetooth, but the build quality just isn't up to scratch. It's not very solid, it doesn't even lay flat on my desk, it wobbles in a little. It's also a bit finicky and noisy when typing. Keep in mind that these issues could probably be fixed with some simple, inexpensive mods. Also the material of the buttons, I know it's ABS and not PBT, but it…

Much to like after a few days of use

Update: I've been using this for a few months now and love it so much! I seem to be having an issue using Bluetooth on my 2019 Macbook Pro. where it randomly repeats characters (e.g. 10 characters for 1 keypress) and once it starts doing it seems to be more frequent. When connected directly to a cable I have no problems so I just use it like that. Also, this keyboard saved me! My typing accuracy is back to where it was before they replaced the junk Apple keyboards about 5 years ago. For anyone…

Fantastic TKL for Mac

I've been using the brown Basic Keychron k8 for a little over 2 weeks. I'm a software developer and this is the keyboard I use for work (WFH). I've used a Durgod Taurus K320 TKL with Cherry mx Brown switches before, so this isn't my first mechanical keyboard. I REALLY LOVE THIS KEYBOARD. The switches are probably the best. If you want a tactile switch but find that Cherry mx browns are too scratchy with too much resistance, or you hate the "bouncy" feel (I love it), Gateron's brown switches are

Great keyboard for the price with a few flaws

Overall I'm very happy with this keyboard. It looks good, takes up little desktop space, Bluetooth works very well and is easy to use, and the lack of software is both a plus and a minus as it streamlines settings and reduces memory usage on my laptop. . I switched to the K8 from a Razer BlackWidow TKL lighting control software and it was a noticeable performance hit at times (and sometimes required a connection reset to use my custom chroma). Pros: The Bluetooth connection is really good…

Brown switches don't fit

Call it 3.5 stars. I originally bought the Aluminum/RGB K2 but found it had three downsides. Pros and cons of K2: + Compact but still with a full-size "laptop" keyboard. The far right column with the arrows Lighting/PgUp/PgDwn/Home/End/Right is more reminiscent of an HP Spectre, the aluminum frames give it weight, and the build quality is completely lacking on the K8 — I could get used to that on the K2. Layout, other than regularly switching back and forth between multiple keyboards and having
