Best keyboard I've ever had

I'm very picky when it comes to technology, especially when it comes to keyboards. I need a keyboard with: - protruding keys (as opposed to Mac/Apple keys) - cool RGB - big enough (full size) that my big hands don't feel cramped when typing - enough "click" when pressing one Key (don't know why, it's just nice) - heavy/dense material so the keyboard doesn't move when I'm typing (aggressive and fast). This keyboard is the first to meet all of the above requirements. The fact that it can be…

  • GOLS certified
Cons

Quality junk

The physical item is very well made and feels good - both the metal body and the mechanical keys. In practice, this keyboard is unfortunately scrap. A couple of times I've logged in in the morning to log in and the keyboard is just typing random keystrokes. For example, trying to type "r" would result in a random set of four to six characters (it wasn't even always the same set of characters). I updated the firmware and that seems to have fixed the situation temporarily. It's worth noting that…

A lot is true, sparks disappointment.

Lots of good stuff in this keyboard; great typing feel. I'm buying an aluminum case with RGB backlighting and the aluminum is great, feels very high quality, durable and stable to type on. However, the lighting is less than I had hoped. Generally I prefer white light and find the light mixed. The blue and green lines on the back of the closest rows of keys are clearly distinguishable, and the continuity on some keys appears pink. The general appearance when painting in watercolor is a bowl of…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Negative presence

Update: The new device works well, but the fact is that there are keycaps with an additional coating that do not appear smooth to small dots on the surface. So I find it very important that the keyboard makes an extra effort to figure out which device is good. And in my experience, two devices together cannot make a perfect keyboard. I think when it's a Logitech keyboard people are a lot less tolerant. And count on Revain for this brand and quality. I don't think buying from their official…

I wish I knew about Keychron before I bought my first mechanical keyboard!

I have been working as a software developer for over 5 years and have really enjoyed working on my CM Storm Quikfire TK. It lasted several years and I had to replace the cable once. Getting it to work with Mac was also a problem. He finally died (RIP) last week and the search for a good replacement began. Mechanical keyboards can be very expensive, and while I use them for my work, I just can't bring myself to spend $150. But when you spend less, the quality really seems to suffer. Out of…

Returned due to broken keyboard leg;

Had to send back after a month due to broken leg. :( -2 stars Mainly (is) used for development on MBP over Bluetooth (usually) with external monitors. The cable doesn't work (yet?) with my Surface Pro 5, but Bluetooth connects and works fine. ") Switches are just what I'm used to from the IBM Model M keyboard. I like the lack of a numeric keypad, although I *sometimes* miss it, although more often I like the (lack of) distance my right hand has to travel to get to the mouse Definitely needs…
