Great complement to microbit

This is the perfect microbit extension. It is very portable and can be attached to your kids bike, scooter or clothes. My kid programmed this in no time with instructions.

Pros
  • Use your micro:bit to tell the world how you feel. Get coding and play a song with a microbit board. Shake your micro:bit to get random numbers.
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Overall very satisfied.

Pretty easy for my 8 year old to put together. Sample programs are ok. The code is a good base, at least for learning. The clock we put in seems to run out of battery quickly (a day or two) but my son made noise and used the LEDs a lot. Sits well on the wrist when adjusted. Not too expensive. I wish they had a transparent screen to fit the micro:bit and make the power button a bit more robust.

Pros
  • The Microbit clock extension board combines two SK6812 LEDs for a color display and a passive buzzer to play all kinds of music. It also features a rotary switch to control power and a CR1632 button cell slot for installing a CR1632 button battery. Not included. Let the Microbit work without a USB cable and battery holder.
Cons
  • Good but not great
