Description of πŸ”‘ Upgraded 4 Button Keyless Flip Folding Key Shell Remote Key Case Fob Replacement for Camaro 2010-2014

This item isn't a remote key, it's just a remote key shell. NO (remote/electronics/ignition or transponder chips). Pls cut the key blade, take the internal electronics (include immobilizer/transponder chip) from your original remote and place them to our key shell, then it is OK! There's no programming needed. Best replacement for broken or worn keys, or great for an additional key. Include the Sticker on back in package. Pls check your key and the item image carefully.

Great replacement for the original

Bottom Line I rate it five stars but I only gave it four because it's not easy and doesn't come with instructions. You can do what I did and use the spare key as a backup, but after 6 years of owning the car the rubber even on my back has torn a bit. Call the dealer, WTH, 250 for one key then another 100 for the second? 350 for new keys? They tell me the key itself costs 75 grand and cutting the key another 75 and…

Very happy with this money saver.

**Update: I was asked if it has a Chevy logo (butterfly badge). I had one, it's a tiny piece of plastic that you stick over the screw hole with double sided tape after assembly. Nice touch but not sure if it's still in this one. ** As mentioned, some of the previous reviews are, shall we say, "funny". This is a *case*, not a replacement key or replacement electronic component (see description friends). The intention is that you transfer your original printed circuit board (PCB) and then cut the
