Good, works with keyless entry systems

Everything works fine, but be aware that if you only have one working key you won't be able to program the key yourself. You need two to make the third.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Blank

Not suitable for F150. Optimal for anti-theft protection

Description says it works with 2008 F150. The key fob can be programmed, the key cannot! I took it for trimming but they said it wasn't wide enough and most likely wouldn't fit. She kept walking and tried, but she didn't even turn on the ignition. Now it cannot be returned.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Transparency

Didn't fit 05 Ford Expedition

later The key turned out to be too thick. It does not work. Luckily the locksmith was kind enough to give me one of his keys at no extra cost other than we had already agreed to have the key cut and programmed. I'm lucky I didn't lose any money in the process. Others cannot.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons

Money Saved - Anti-Theft

This saved me a lot of money. Checked with a Ford dealer. And they charged $200 to replace the remote and reprogram my car. I did a little research on YouTube. And I learned to program a new key fob myself. 10 minutes and I think it was $31 what can I say thanks Revane.

Pros
  • Absolutely Amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Perfect. No questions. Excellent value for money

Perfect. Just what I needed for my mom's Ford Escape 03. There were no problems, programmed immediately. No waiting time. You don't need a mechanic or locksmith to do this. If you can't, just ask a friend who has craft skills. Make sure the key is on (engine still off), this is the 8th turn of the key.

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Will NOT work on 2004 Ford F150 Heritage!

2004 Ford F150 Heritage requires H72 key, not H92 key! While programming, I found that I was stuck in the truck's ignition system! I ended up having to call a locksmith. They went out and fixed the problem by simply swapping the key. I had the correct programming but the key provided was wrong. Took me $130 for a support call and key production. The seller must ensure that they provide the correct key!

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • dim

Key fob works, no keys

I ordered 2 sets of fobs/keys when my husband lost his keys and had to use my truck key. We took both sets to our local FORD dealer and were able to cut the keys and program both FOBS! However, the chip in the keys said "programmed" but only opened the doors. No key starts the truck. Luckily we found the original key, but it would be nice to have a spare just in case.

Pros
  • Keyless Entry Systems
Cons
  • Some small things

The remote works great and is programmed exactly as described. However, the key MUST be programmed by a mechanic, even if you already have a second key stored in the car's computer. It cannot be cloned from key #1 or key #2. After you cut the key as if it were a "dumb" key with no chip, an additional key MUST be programmed into your car or truck's CPU for that key to work (i.e. usually as a #3 key). This programming cannot be done by a key manufacturer or locksmith. You will need a mechanic to…

Pros
  • Interior Accessory
Cons
  • Available in black only
