This keychain comes with a link that should be.

This key fob comes with a link that should have instructions on how to program it, but they don't work. I've tried four different guides I found on the internet with no success. I ended up taking it to a local locksmith and he programmed it on his $20 laptop in under 1 minute. So it works, not with the instructions provided, but it works in the end.

Works great, looks like the original. Programming is like an auto-hokey nudge: in and out, in and out, door closed, door open, door in and out, door closed, door open, etc. It took me 2 tries to get it right. Now the doors and trunk open as expected. I printed out the instructions and then made notes (in/out, in/out) next to each instruction so I didn't have to try to read all the details like I did. I programmed this for a 2007 Toyota Avalon Touring Edition.

Save money the FIRST time - it works!

Save a lot of money. Buy the right key fob for your car at Revain. DO NOT buy from EBAY as I bought two FOBs which died after two weeks. Revain accepts refunds. I couldn't get FOB to work on my Toyota and the dealer said they would charge me over $160 for FOB. I went to the local locksmith and told him the story. He tried the same procedure to no avail. He then went into my underhood fuse box and checked all 18 fuses. ONE was broken - the one for the locks. He replaced it and programmed BOTH…

Bought two replacement keyless fobs for a 20011 Toyota Tundra pickup. Guess no instructions other than go to the Remoteremote website for keychain programming instructions. The website says "THIS REMOTE CONTROL/KEY CAN ONLY BE PROGRAMMED USING SPECIAL EQUIPMENT BY A DEALER OR QUALIFIED SERVICE TECHNICIAN." Guess what? I checked their BBB rating, F is the worst you can get. I learned my lesson the hard way. Now you have to pay a dealer or locksmith to program the fobs. What a rip off. Revain…

They work great on my 2005 Toyota Tacoma

I had a lot of problems with these games initially. I've gone through the whole process of programming about 20 times without success. Then I finally found a YouTube video showing how to reset my truck's ECU. I did that and after that they programmed perfectly. Very satisfied. I don't know if you can post links here, but if you search YouTube for Toyota Tacoma Key Fob Fix / Re-sync / Re-program // UPDATED video with new information! In this video you will learn how to reset the ECU. (It's as…

Easy to program Toyota 2005 - Recommended!

I bought a 2005 Toyota Solara that did not have a remote control. Since there is no keyhole to open the trunk (so I could only open it with a lock in the car), I tried desperately to fix this situation. At the same time, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. First let me say that I'm NOT technically competent so I wasn't confident in my ability to program this remote. I hate technical things to be honest. However, I was able to easily program this remote control myself. I went to their website

Worked like a charm on my 2005 Tacoma

I was offered $120 to replace the remote at a 3rd party shop near me so I decided to do a little research. I saw this at Revain and decided to take a chance for $19 (for two remotes!). Went like clockwork! Turns out my Tacoma (and most Toyotas) can be "self programmed" to accept a remote control (or 2 or 3) and it's very simple. So, for $19 and even 10 minutes of "programming" I now have two working remotes! Here's how it works (for my 2005 Tacoma): 1. Start with the key in the ignition…
