🔑 Buick Century Regal Rendezvous/Oldsmobile Intrigue/Pontiac Aztek Grand Prix Key Fob Remote, 2001-2007 (L2C0007T), Set of 2 Review

Ordered for my 2001 Pontiac Gran Prix GTP. When I bought a used car, it didn't have key fobs. I didn't use the keychain manufacturer's instructions. However, I used YouTube videos. Slickery-dickery-doc, I programmed them before 2 minutes passed on the clock. Hope they last and last a few years.

2006 Buick Rendezvous. Followed the program instructions and the only thing he could open was the tailgate. Auto lock/unlock didn't work. Moderately satisfied, because before the purchase I could not open the hatch at all. I lost my original FOB. It was worth it as I didn't want to spend money through the dealer.

My car (an old Buick) allowed me to program myself without any special equipment. Googling I found clear instructions on keyfobprogram.com although there are other sites. I read the instructions three times so I was clear on what to do (the sequence of inserting the key and fumbling with the door opener button). It only took a few minutes, now I have 2 working FOBS.

I was trying to make a key fob for my Buick of the Century and everyone said it would cost at least $70 to program! I knew it had to be an alternative and luckily those bad guys did their job. Less than $15 for two of them and all you have to do is research how to hook them up to your car. If you or someone you know has lost your key fob, stop wasting your time locking your doors manually and order it as soon as possible!

So today both of my remotes (which haven't been used once since programming) didn't work. I thought, um, if both go out, it must be because the batteries are dead. No, somehow the same chip just fell off the board on both remotes, no matter what the chip manufacturer does, it should be down. Well now it's absolute rubbish and one has never been used the other has been used maybe 30 times in all. So no I don't recommend them and hope I can find a better option.
