Great deal - anti-theft device

Toyota told me I need to buy a $240 replacement key for my Camry. Bought and paid $70 to have it cut and programmed! Everything worked great. A++

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not bad

Prefect replacement key for my 2011 Toyota Camry

I bought this key to replace my 2011 Toyota Camry SE. This is exactly what I needed. I took it to Toyota and they made me the key for free. It comes with an unprogrammed microchip and FOB that need additional programming by Toyota or a locksmith. All in all a great key. I would buy again.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Buy at your own risk

I bought this key to use with my 2013 FR-S which also has a G key. I don't know if it was my car keys but I was unable to program the key with the immobilizer. The buttons work to lock and unlock the car but I couldn't program the key to start the car which is a bummer. Rather than try again, I bought a $160 key from a local locksmith.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Big and bulky

I have used TIS Techstream to program these keys to replace a Corolla G code key. Techstream recognizes and programs the immobilizer portion of the key, but Techstream and the vehicle do not recognize a signal from the lock/unlock buttons, so these functions cannot be programmed. I ordered two and neither could program the unlock/lock function.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Appearance

Good value for interior

Took this to my local locksmith to have it cut and programmed for my car. I would rate it 98%. The only minor issue is that if left in the ignition the car will detect the presence of the key and make a "ding" noise. However, if I had bought a new key fob from a locksmith, the total cost would have been over $200 and they only charged me $110. So when I factor in the $20 I spent on it, I saved $70. Satisfied customer

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Fine

Key doesn't fit my Camry

So after making sure this seller had the correct key I bought one of these replacement master keys for my 2011 Toyota Camry. I took the key to a locksmith who cut the key but could not program it. He told me that my camry has a "points system" and that key doesn't work. Now I have a key that opens the doors but doesn't start the engine. I will update this review if the company contacts me with a working solution. Very disappointed.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket
