It's good to have a spare key in case you lose your key.

I decided to hide a spare key under the hood in case of an emergency. I just took the key to the local hardware store to have it cut. Programming is a breeze since you do it yourself. If you have two working keys, just read the manual or online instructions on the web to make the jeep vehicle recognize this key as valid. The best part is that it's a backup in case I lose one of my keys because as long as you have two working keys you can do more (up to eight in total).

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • High price

These keys did the trick

I had worn out one of the aftermarket keys and needed replacing. The keys there have become "cheap”. They used to have metal all the way down to the keychain hole. Now it's just a blade and the key itself has no real power. Of course, in normal use, the key will work. I'm getting harder on keys and I feel like the key ring on the hard plastic frame is worn out and I'll be buying a new key soon. Luckily there are two keys in that order. It's good for the price. Durability is questionable. Is it…

Better than dealer prices, OEM quality

I lost my key, went to Lowe to get a key but didn't have the software for my year old car. So I went to the dealer and they charged $140 for a key cut and programming. I went and looked on YouTube where I found this company. Ordered keys and went to a local locksmith to have the keys cut. Cutting both keys is only $2. I made an appointment with the dealer to program them (I only had one key). The dealer only charged me about $42 to program both keys. So for about $60 I cut and programmed 2 keys

  • Sturdy construction

Perfect resemblance! in Keyless Entry Systems

How to Cut Those Keys for Free in 8 Easy Steps! take it off the shelf 3) scan the barcode on the key you took so you can insert the key 4) reinsert the key with the barcode 5) insert a new blank 6) have it cut out 7) take out the key 8) leave the store and enjoy the knowledge that you have transcended the system. Worked great on a 2017 Wrangler

Bought these to have extra keys for my 2017 Jeep Wrangler so I could use them every day and keep my originals safe. They didn't have a link to instructions as stated, but using instructions from other reviewers worked great. Both lasted about a minute. Had the keys made for free at the local hardware store. Instructions: (1) Turn on the car with the first original key, leave for 5-10 seconds, turn off. (2) Turn on the car with the second original key, wait for a solid red circle (anti-theft…

If you get "RKE LOW BATTERY " when using a Y164 transponder key READ THIS

Firstly I have used Keyless2go branded keys and have been more than happy with them. You are a great product! It should be noted that if your OEM key is of the Remote Keyless Entry type (e.g. Remote Keyless Head Fob replacement KOBDT04A for Dodge Magnum 05) and you decide to use a key that is not Remote Keyless Entry has (replacement car ignition key with Y164 transponder) instead, a key without a remote will start and work like a normal key for your car BUT since your car does not "see" the…

Saved me quite a bit of money.

Buying a factory key and programming it sucks money out of your wallet. I bought these 2 packs because the Ace hardware specialist said they could do it. Well he broke a key so I left and went to a car dealership. Yes, I had to celebrate with their price for cutting and programming the key. BUT! They said they would cut and program that other key for free as all the information was already in their device. They said that this key is practically the same without the word JEEP written on it. So…

Worked on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler, great button quality/feel

was a bit hesitant because Amazon says it doesn't fit my 2018 Jeep Wrangler but the website states that it is suitable. So I bought these keys. went to the depot and the guy cut my hair. nice guy, did it for free. So I go home, get both keys, which start the Wrangler, follow the instructions. turn on the first key for a few seconds / no more than 10. take out the key, turn on the second key and leave it on until the red anti-theft lamp flashes, delete this key. inserted one of these keys…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

One key worked PERFECTLY and passed sentry programming. The second key wasn't programmed - it had a bad chip, which sometimes happens, as other Revain reviewers have pointed out. This was on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler. The programming process is not that difficult - you will need the two original key fobs that came with your new car. You can program up to 8 new Sentry keys without the help of a dealer. After that, you need to contact the dealer. We called Keyless2Go customer service at (516) 962-1755

Pros
  • Nice packaging
