was a bit hesitant because Amazon says it doesn't fit my 2018 Jeep Wrangler but the website states that it is suitable. So I bought these keys. went to the depot and the guy cut my hair. nice guy, did it for free. So I go home, get both keys, which start the Wrangler, follow the instructions. turn on the first key for a few seconds / no more than 10. take out the key, turn on the second key and leave it on until the red anti-theft lamp flashes, delete this key. inserted one of these keys - activated. and after a few seconds the red flashing has stopped / the key is programmed! oh oh easy! Then wait a few seconds for the system to "reboot" and repeat the process with a different key! BOTH are working on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler! Perfect! and also. I love these keys! Why? Well, the original factory key feels like "silicone". You know, like a sponge. I see factory keys that accumulate dirt/grime and get dirty over time. these keys you read about. They are gray and made of smooth hard plastic that feels like they can be cleaned and don't get sticky. The reason I bought these keys is the price and the ease of programming. now think of the future .as in my happiness. I lost my key now I have to go to the dealer and probably pay $180 for a replacement! So now I had to take a vacation to go to a car dealership and pay big bucks for a new key. Instead, I paid very little, did the work myself, and now they'll probably never be needed. but it's nice to know they're here.
