We had this problem: Our car alarm went beyond the time we opened the door and it WILL NOT stop ringing until you put the key in the ignition and turned on the car. Talk about embarrassment! This keyless remote was so easy to pair with our car. It took my husband maybe a minute! Works great and problem solved. My only regret is that I didn't buy it sooner! waste of money! I tried programming this using the instructions that came with it, but both sets didn't work. I've also tried a few other options I found online but nothing. I even bought a new battery thinking it might be him but it didn't matter. It took me a while to get everything done during the move and now it's too late to return it. My recommendation if you need a keyless remote replacement is to look elsewhere. The programming for this does not work. Waste of time and money!

Works great on my new 2000 Tahoe LT body.
