Impeccable programming

I was worried that this would be a regular PITA for programming, but I'm happy to report that after reading the brief instructions on your Website took about 30 seconds. and it works great. Pooh! It comes with a battery and a map with a web address to get directions. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

So far so good!: Anti-theft device

I have a 2003 Subaru and its alarm fob broke. I replaced the battery but it only worked partially. great stress So I tried it and it worked right away! The program instructions were simple and correct. (Just read them beforehand and be prepared to follow the steps quickly). It works great.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

2002 Subaru WRX - Remote works GREAT!

Great little remote control. Bought this as an auxiliary remote for a 2002 Subaru WRX. The directions are ok and I tried to program without success. Searched and found a YouTube video, figured out what I was doing wrong and programmed it on the first try. Works just as well as the one that came with the car!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Poor instructions

Thanks for the easy access!

Thanks for the work! I can use it to quickly unlock the car, but the range isn't all that great. It's still way better than opening the driver's side door. The guide was helpful, but after several tries we had to upload a YouTube video to show exactly how to code. The delivery was fast and the packaging was good. would recommend.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are doubts

Used 01 Subaru Outback

I followed the instructions in the 01 Legacy/Outback owner's manual and everything worked fine. Don't forget to turn on the door close/unlock alarm, otherwise you won't hear the beeps that tell you what stage of the process you are at. Owners, this type of remote control is a relic of past generations. Next time I'll go for a three button model.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Protection

Working, build quality is inferior to OEM

Overall the key fob works exactly as it should. Programming was easy and both buttons work well. If you are looking for a new replacement instead of a used OEM, this is the way to go. The only thing that confuses me is that it doesn't go as far as the original and the plastic feels cheap. It's a very hard plastic, but it's kind of hollow. It feels like if I squeeze it hard enough it will pop out like a pimple. But it works and that's my only complaints.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • No instructions

2003 Outback Best Interior

I tried to buy one from our local dealer who told us my car didn't have a key fob and we would need to buy a system to make it work. Thank you Rewin! This keychain works great as other reviewers have noted that the range isn't great, but my original keychain didn't work either. I had to try my hand at programming a few times because I just wasn't fast enough. Very satisfied, it works and for the price. For this model you can watch a YouTube video that shows the Baja programming, it's the same.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Specs
Cons
  • Modern

Works well, need more detailed instructions.

2001 Forester. As mentioned, it seems a bit cheaper than the original but works well and is well priced. Programming is easy, but while the online instructions are correct, they lack specific details. For example, you have to turn the ignition on and off 10 times. It doesn't make it clear that you have to do it very quickly, so the first few times I did it, nothing happened. I watched a youtube video of a guy demonstrating how to do it quickly and it worked out great.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Not the best

FOB is finally operational but instructions are questionable

Definitely a decent price even if FOB isn't as reliable as OEM. A new OEM from the dealer costs $104 and must be ordered/delivered. I'm not sure if the merchant will charge for the program, I assume so, and I'm assuming $$$. In any case instructions NOT supplied FOB but are on a 3rd party website. They're not useless, but they're sorely lacking in detail. Compliance with this does not activate the functionality of the key fob. After NON-REPEAT attempts I have had no feedback (beeps) that this…

  • Best in niche
