It was actually made to the right dimensions so I could use the top half (with knobs) and bottom half of the old one (because it had the original car model on it) and both parts fit together perfectly.

This case is different from the cases I've bought in the past that have the same photo and description. The components were not interchangeable. Just be prepared to return it if this happens to you.

The case is really strong and looks great cut out in minutes at your local $2 hardware store. You must replace all parts in your old remote control with this one or it will not work properly.

Bought because the plastic loop on my original key broke. The key works, but the buttons are heavily recessed in the plastic. Good thing my wifi isn't working. At least that way I can feel the difference between my key and my wife's car key.

The key fob case came on time in the post, the only thing missing was that the key works, I had to cut the key and superglue it to fit the new case, also the case is excellent. I bought it because the key chain holder on my other case broke. And I also have a black rubber key protector so if it breaks it will still be on my keychain.

I bought this case because my original was rough. (costs less than $2) A new key has been confirmed to open the door and ignition. Then I took my old key apart and replaced the green circuit board and battery with a new key and Walla a new key that starts the van and a remote that works. I recommend this product

Product works well with my Jeep Wrangler after being trimmed for my local gear. The security chip is in the circuit of the old key fob and must be swapped over to the new one or your engine will start and then die. In my previous review I gave the company 3 stars because I only received 2 keys when I ordered 3. The company makes the order right and I am grateful for the solution. The rest of the product is excellent.

Does not work with factory security. There is also no way to replace the part of the factory key (which contains the transponder for the OEM security system) with new plastic. So, apologizing to my daughter for wasting 15 minutes of her day, I turned around and happily tossed the shiny green piece of trash in the trash can. A fair price for a lesson learned. I'm just a shade tree mechanic, and even that is limited to when the sun is out here in Oregon.

Everything is fine with this product except the Bee Gees didn't press the button on the circuit when I assembled everything using the circuit board on my old key boards right because for a small plastic insert that comes with metal buttons I had to take one from my old tee and fit it into the new key which was a bit tricky because it was glued in place but I managed and I got it done I want to assemble the key at work so most people probably wouldn't be able to get past this problem, but I did,
