Left the car idling

I have access to Ford key programming software. One of the requirements when reprogramming is that you must have at least 2 Pats keys, I had 3 so I was fine (original and these 2). As it turned out, only the manufacturer programmed and these two did not. I've tried many times (each time waiting 10 minutes for programming access) and ended up with an unusable vehicle. I called Amazon, they sent me another key from another seller for the night and it worked great. I am returning these 2 useless…

2011 Ford Expedition - "Failed to program key "

I took this key to my local hardware store to see if they could cut and program it for me. They could cut it, but their machine couldn't program the key itself. Here I tried to program the key in Expy. I was able to get a key to lock, unlock and open the tailgate but I couldn't program it to start the car. Not sure if this is an issue, but I've read that some 2011 models switched from a 40-bit key to an 80-bit key. I couldn't find out what version of RFID these keys had.

The first key was cut and programmed, no problem. The second key was cut off, but the chip was defective and could not be programmed. I tried to contact the seller by phone but only received a voice message. I knew it would be of little use anyway as it said satisfaction was guaranteed but the keys…

Works well. - Anti-theft

When I brought my daughters the Escape 2012 it only had one key which was not original so I bought these keys from Revain. The dealer asked $290 for a new key and programming. The locksmith wanted $175 for a new key and programming. I used FORScan 30-day trial along with Veepeak's USB-OBD2 adapter for FORScan to program the keys to start the car and they worked flawlessly. Buying two keys and an OBD2 adapter cost me $60, which was a lot better than paying the dealer $280 for just one key. The…
