Worked great on my 2014 Ran 2500 with remote start. The dealer wanted $290 for the keychain! This saved me so much money! I will most likely be buying another one soon. If you don't care It didn't have a logo on the back like my factory key.

Easily programmed by a pro the first time. Everything works, locks and remote start. Great price and solid construction, just like the OEM except for the badge on the back. Two keys in this way for the price of one at the dealer.

In my Infinite Wisdom, I washed my shorts with a key fob in them. I bought these as a replacement. The really cool thing was that I could use the old RAM logo key fob with this one :-) I used AlfaOBD software to program it. Works well

They couldn't program my truck because they sent the wrong keyfobs. Not only is the part wrong, the locksmith also had a frequency tester and one of the key fobs didn't give a frequency so looks dead on arrival as the batteries tested well. Annoying but looks like I'll get a full refund.

Bought two keys. I programmed both keys myself on my 4th generation RAM 1500 using alphaobd. Programmed with no problems. Only gave 4 stars because the quality of the key release mechanism is poor. One is recessed under the key body and is very difficult to remove. The other is properly raised. Good range for remote start, unlock/lock.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this item as it is not factory made but it worked out in the end. I bought it for my 2016 Ram 1500 Sport and the dealer said it would cost $90 to program it but they cannot guarantee it will work. I did it and everything works as it should. Happy with the result and saved a few bucks in my pocket.

The locksmith checked the remote before attempting to program it. Buttons and transponders well tested. The locksmith programmed this into the truck and the buttons worked, but the truck wouldn't start. I bought a Dodge remote from a dealer and it programmed and worked right away. I sent this defective remote back and asked for a replacement. Instead of replacing the remote they gave me a refund which is $10.86 less than what I paid for.

I bought 2 of these to replace a broken key fob. First you need to know what frequency (RFID) your truck is using. This is important as this keychain is ONLY for Gen 4 RAMs. You also need to know your truck's 4-digit PIN to bypass the ECM security system. Any reputable locksmith can easily program the keyfobs. You don't need to cut off the emergency key first. (highly recommended afterwards) If you cut it off before programming and the key fob is defective for any reason, you cannot return it…
