We had an old remote control from a previous Lincoln but the plastic loop attaching it to the key ring was broken. When we bought another Lincoln we were able to reprogram the remote for a car (new to us) and just swap out the housing so we had a replacement remote that worked great for less than $5! Very happy with this case and the results. We also stock replacement key blanks at Revain, making it cheaper to purchase keys and a replacement remote.

Case perfectly fitting and easy to assemble. However, my remote control did NOT work initially. After disassembly, I noticed noticeable condensation in the rubber boot that attaches to the circuit board. I took a paper towel and wiped it off, waited a few minutes and put it back together. I don't think I should complain but I will. This is ONLY the case and costs $10. and complete with batteries) This device has one major problem. It is not configured as OEM for the battery case, so right out of the box it will NOT work. I had to add foam tape to the back half to make it work with the OEM remote box as in this case the battery doesn't fit properly in the front half of the transmitter to securely connect to the battery. A minor note, but I'm sure it's annoying as hell for some. I
