Works like a factory key, programmed the first time!

later It doesn't have a Ford badge on it but other than that it worked like a charm. Programmed when I first tried it and the Ford dealer charged me about $25 for trimming. I would recommend!

  • Nice packaging

Check your Interior FCC ID

Works like factory as long as you have two OEM key fobs. Did you carve a $10 Ford key? I think just add the first OEM rotation to the accessory position, same for the second OEM, then try. A notification will appear on the dashboard programming key and you are done. I have 19 F-450's and they have worked great.

Great replacement for the

Bought a 2017 Explorer and only had one key fob. Bought this one (much cheaper than any other site) and had my local dealer cut and program it. It should have cost a few hundred dollars from what I saw online, but it was made for around $60 overall. Better than the one that came with the car.

Pros
  • key fob, handy item

Most traders can't program it

Everything was great until I found out I had to program it and most traders don't have programming equipment. Dealer with a key already made for your vehicle. Don't waste your time and money with this product. Just go to a retailer and order one that's already set up and ready to go.

Excellent purchase! Fits Interior

My local Ford dealership charged $400 for a replacement key fob to cut and program. I bought this keychain (make sure you have the correct model number, it's on your keychain). I paid a local locksmith $120 to cut and program this key fob. He made it the master key, so I disabled the speed lock (didn't go past 80 mph) and the volume knob on the stereo. I'm very glad I spent $150 on this replacement key!

  • Durable Test Results

Works on 2018 f150, I'm surprised and glad all buttons work.

I was skeptical about this key and if it would work. I had one of those mobile locksmiths and he cut and programmed it in 10 minutes and the key and knobs worked fine. Very glad it worked, I have a 2018 f150. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is that the key got stuck plugging and unplugging 2/10 times. But other than that, I'm glad it worked out. I'll buy more if needed.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Minor issues

The off button sticks a little and the battery is empty.

Received on time, key locking not smooth. I'm curious if programming and cutting works. Just take a look. Update: The battery died so I had to pay an extra $5 at the locksmith when programming. Also the alarm button doesn't work so this will be my key and the wife will get one that fully works. The key fob looked great and starts the car, unlocks/locks but is a little disappointed that it's a constant reminder that $140 doesn't work all the way. Better than the insane price Ford was going to…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some small things

The key was cut at a Ford dealership and formulated to perfection ($10). I then programmed the fob by putting another key in the ignition and turning it to the 'on' position for about 3 seconds for each 'don't start'. I then plugged in the new key fob and turned it to the on position and within seconds my doors locked, indicating the key fob had been programmed. It starts and locks and unlocks my truck too. The retailer charged $125 to program the key fob. It took me less than 30 seconds to…

Key fob buttons not working

I bought this based on reviews and guaranteed compatibility but it wasn't until I spent $75 to cut and program a key for my car that I found it the out buttons didn't work on the key fob. I sent a message to the seller asking how we could get it right and he was told that I had just run out of the $75 that I had already spent on the editing/programming and they would do nothing but offer a refund. (That means if I want a key, I have to pay another $75 for a replacement, cut and programmed with…

  • Good product for the price
