I didn't see the part where I need a programmer for 2011 and newer. I ended up ordering another remote that came with the programmer after finding out dealers charge over $100 to program 2 remotes. After programming, everything works perfectly.

I bought these cases thinking they were just empty cases that needed the inside of my old broken cases. Instead, I was happy to see that they are fully functional with the batteries that came with them. I had no problem connecting them to my 2007 GMC Yukon XL.

If your Tahoe is 2012 or newer you cannot program it yourself, you have no choice on your vehicle's control panel. The Chevy dealer charged $58 to program each remote. I was able to get a local locksmith to program both remotes for a total of $75. I checked out a few videos on YouTube but they were only helpful if your Tahoe is 2011 or older.

My wife lost her keys and key fob so she told honey to buy and install it or something. Luckily it was easy to program and it took me 10 minutes to program it (well 5 hours if my wife asks you. I was in the garage drinking ice cold fires the rest of the time). PS That was on a 2008 Tahoe. I've had them for 6 months now and they still work perfectly.

I bought this remote after my 2008 GMC Yukon Denali remote worked. The reviews I read seem fair which is why I bought it and it worked as soon as it arrived. No problems so far, only the remote control seems to be very cheap and poorly made. I mean a drop, it doesn't break well. Otherwise I'm still very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to all GM vehicles.

Luckily I have a 2007 Chevy Tahoe. and work as they should. I'll add that they come with a battery with no sealing tape so I can see if some people say they've received one that won't work if the buttons are pushed during shipping for reasons of home storage discharged the battery , only i have a bad battery they say if you get one that doesnt work try a new battery i will just save you some time.
