The blanks were not manufactured correctly and did not fit in the lock. The thin strip of metal on the opposite side of the V-groove was too thick. I had to mill/saw 15/1000 on both sides to get the key in. After that it works very well. Look at the jog I had to do in the middle of the key next to / to the right of "SA". If the key would fit I would give 5 stars. If I didn't have a milling machine, 0 stars. Programmed in my F150 using CK100 and then used Ford's two key procedure for the second…

Absolute junk, good for anti-theft

The keys I received don't have a working chip. I've programmed hundreds of Ford keys. I programmed them with my scanner when all the keys were lost, I programmed them with the 2 keys method. I have used both factory and non-original keys. These special buttons do not work. After both keys could not be programmed with either my Autel Maxisys scanner or the two-key method, I immediately grabbed a Ford Stattec factory key off the shelf, cut it out and programmed it with no problem. This is very…

Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

They fit! So far, so good.

Bought them for a 2010 F150 that was made for Canada. This bothered me a bit as the Canadian versions are a bit different from the US versions, but. it worked! I had a VERY hard time cutting them. Nobody would. They all had some kind of excuse, even when I said I could program them. We ended up cutting them out and only had one key so I was really nervous but I used FORscan to reset those two and the original and then program it. Worked great and now I have 3 working keys. So why are you asking

Works perfect! the best anti-theft

After throwing my keys in the trash along with a handful of other junk, I was left with no key fobs or plain keys with chips. We paid over $300 for new key fobs, plus $150 in towing and car dealership fees to get our car to the dealer. I had a basic chip key, but we recently moved and haven't found it yet. I thought we needed a pair of chipkeys for another occasion. They were for my make/model of car and had high ratings so I was hoping they would work. I had to go to a locksmith to have them…

If you only have one key, this might not be the best option.

If you have a 2007 Ford Expedition and only have one key, be careful. I went to a locksmith to clone the original key I had and none of them would clone. I have been told that these different brand RF dongles cannot be encoded by another brand encoder. I had to pay him $55 for a feature and I know him and saw him try so he wasn't trying to rip me off. If you have both original keys and cut that key on Ace hardware or elsewhere, you can encode them on your car as advertised, but if you only have

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
