The elastic strap gets in the way. Just cut it off and don't try to use the meter in the case. Works well without a strap. The drawstring bag could be deeper. You need to make sure the sensors are properly inserted to close the case. So far I like it better than the regular Fluke zip top bags and you just throw everything in your style.

I am impressed with the quality of this product; It should protect my Fluke 289 from pretty much anything I come across. The infrared cable fits nicely into the case, so I could easily put the sensors in there instead of the 289 if I wanted to. If you're looking for a quality case that's almost bulletproof and doesn't take up more space than necessary, then you've found it.

Stay away if the look of your gear is important to you. In this case I placed my brand new Fluke 289. A week later, I took the meter out of the case and noticed a very light black spot on the Fluke's yellow case. Thinking it might be a manufacturing defect in the case, which I didn't realize when I first put the meter in the Hank case, I dismissed it.
