It comes with 78" lead wire for taller ceilings. Provides ambient lighting, which provides overall illumination to the area. CSA UL Listed Dry. A dry location is an indoor area that is not normally subject to dampness. Air Performance: Airflow 5147 cu. ft./minute on high; Power Usage 80 Watts on high (excludes lights) and Airflow Efficiency 65 cu. ft./minute per Watt.

Sound level information from manufacturer

I like the look. It runs quietly in slow mode but still makes a buzzing noise. At medium speed, the ceiling fan makes more of this noise. Aggravating.

  • CSA UL Listed Dry would be desirable. A dry place is an enclosed area that is not normally exposed to moisture. Air Capacity: 5147 cc airflow feet/minute at altitude; Power consumption 80W at high power (no lighting) and 65cc airflow efficiency. feet per minute per watt.

Loud in One Direction

The appearance of the fan is good. However, it's loud when moving in one direction and completely silent in the opposite direction. Not worth paying an electrician to remove it for a return then you will have to pay them to reinstall it. I would not buy this product again.

Kicheler Beats the Heat Fan

The Kichler fan we bought was very easy to install (don't forget to install receiver correctly), had good instructions and it works! This 54" Geno fan was the perfect size, very quiet and cool looks much better on us at night. The fan we bought is matte white (perfect for a crystal white ceiling) and looks sleek and modern. For example, LED lights and frosted glass cover means we don't turn on the high beams (there's no dimming feature ) dark, plus Thanks for the fan, well done Kichler!

Beautifully styled fan. Heavy, with unique mounting features

This is a well designed fan but heavy for its size. The first fan I saw has an extra cord that needs to be attached to the fall arrest beam. The instructions are generally well written and the assembly is fairly typical for a ceiling fan. A unique selling point is the assembly of the fan blades. Unlike most other fans it has a hub (just above the light) and all five blades are attached to that hub and then this assembly is attached to the motor.
