Type of review

Revain kept offering me this coffee and most reviews were consistent. The negative reviews were mostly from people who had bad batches of coffee and I figured it was rare. Well it happened to me. I have brewed coffee in a regular drip coffee maker and from the moment I brewed it I felt something strange. It just smelled like bird droppings. I just cleaned the coffee maker yesterday and haven't brewed any coffee in it since. I tried drinking it anyway, thinking it must be a different type of…

1/3 cup of soil = 1 full French Press (three 8oz cups each morning)

LOVE! I order these two pounds at once. He does a full French Press every morning. I have 1 cup while I'm getting ready and 16 ounces in my travel mug to take to the office. Bold and gorgeous! A NOTICE. If you have any heart problems at all I would definitely skip this one. I sent my mum a pound of this last year and she ended up in the ER with a racing heart. THIS IS NOT THE COFFEE'S FAULT. My mom has an irregular heartbeat and is 100% decaffeinated (which was new to me at the time), but she…

Doesn't look like anything. Dollar shop quality with a smart brand.

I just tried this coffee with my roommate who I consider a coffee connoisseur. This coffee has absolutely no aroma and is dark roasted! Walmart brand dark roast coffee is much better than this. Folgers is better. Literally every coffee I've ever bought has been better than this one. We knew this coffee was going to be a problem even before we brewed it because as soon as we opened the package we felt nothing. We noticed that the color of the coffee is not as dark as we expected. Once the coffee

Bad coffee, avoid two packs

Combination warning: one ground coffee and the other whole bean. I can't imagine how many people would want to buy both. I was looking for ground coffee and didn't zoom in, so I'm stuck with beans I can't grind. Maybe that's more Revane's wine than KHC; I see them being supplied and sold by Revain (usually a good thing). It's worth noting that great ground coffee has NO DATE and smart beans have a shelf life of 4 months. I saw reviews of rancid and strange smells and tastes, but ignored them…

UPDATED: Kick Ass, Smart Ass Roasts, Three Sisters and Decaf

I've bought 3 different Kicking Horse roasts over the past few weeks to try. My favorite £2 coffee bag has gone up in price so I'm looking for cheaper coffee. The appeal of Kicking Horse is that you get a little more (2.2 pounds) for just $2-3 more than I spent on my previous favorite drink, which went up $13 for less coffee. My first try was Smart Ass. I won't lie. That was the name I liked and it was a medium roast. I bought it in a 10 ounce bag which is not cheap long term but was good for…
