Exceptional coffee!

We LOVE this coffee! I bought so many different coffees looking for the right one. Well I finally found it! Kicking Horse Three Sisters is everything I was looking for. We don't like our coffee weak or strong. It's right in the middle. Excellent rich taste without bitterness. It's also very smooth. Ideal! If you haven't tried it yet, treat yourself.

Big disappointment

After reading all the reviews on this medium roast coffee we were excited to try it. But after a pot of this garbage, we threw it away! Medium obviously means different things to different people. This coffee was bitter and sharp - too strong. So we basically dropped it. We used the same dosages as other 6-cup coffees, so that's not our approach. The coffee we got was just bitter and not a medium roast at all!

Good coffee goes well with coffee

I love the taste of Kicking Horse - Three Sisters coffee. So much so that I've stopped trying other brands; I was a little upset when the brand disappeared from the shelves of a large Midwestern grocery store. I checked out Revain and was able to sign up for a scheduled delivery every 2 weeks which was helpful. But a new product is coming out and guess what's on the shelves?! Three Sisters coffee is $3 more expensive than what's available at Revain. Just thought I'd share that I canceled my…

  • Functionality

I love that coffee gives me energy, but I'm by no means a big coffee connoisseur - my coffee is usually creamier than coffee with lots of sweetness, but I get great results from intermittent fasting and wanted to find coffee that I can drink sober , and most coffees are so inferior, Starbucks tastes burnt and quite sour, and Peets, Coffee Bean, and Tea Leaf aren't much better. I've tried organic coffee, no brands and none of them were what I would call good taste, but Kicking Horse Three…

I can drink it black

In my quest to lose weight, I've stopped adding real sugar to my regular Maxwell House Colombian coffee. I used liquid stevia. I stopped using cream after a while, but I couldn't stop using stevia. I decided that the too-sweet taste of stevia should also go away, so I went in search of a coffee that I could drink black. After reading many reviews on Amazon, I decided to try Kicking Horse coffee. I bought a small pack of Kick Ass and a Horsepower version, but while delicious, both were too…

Pros
  • Brilliantly cooked
Cons
  • Reliable

I bought this ground coffee at a small discount during National Coffee Day week. This brand was on my wish list, this particular brand choice did not disappoint. I brewed this finely ground coffee in a French Press, it could have been richer in a drip coffee maker. Compared to many other brands I would place this right under the top. At the top of my list are coffees made from beans freshly picked from the bush. After years of drinking too much coffee, I quickly realize that it's not smooth in…

The fight=won!: Ground coffee

The story is long. We love good coffee, so taste, profile, body, acidity etc. must be right. The best way to get what you want is to buy raw beans and roast and grind them yourself. But who has time for that? So we decided to have another child. I love this guy, but he's got the lungs of a screeching spider monkey who just won the lottery. Although our Nespresso and Keurig coffeemakers could sleep an average of 30 minutes at a time, they couldn't fall asleep until morning. I know what you're…
