Good size shorts. They fit my grandson perfectly and are great in any weather. Made of terry cloth, very absorbent. The first time he wore them we took them to the beach and after he got off the beach he put on these shorts in his wetsuit and they did a great job of keeping my car seats relatively dry. I would highly recommend them to all children, quality, reasonable price, bright colors and they wash and dry well.

This brand comes in different sizes - don't look at the size of the letters, look at the numbers. We are size XL, the tag also says 10-12 and it fits my son well. He's a size 10. There's room for him to grow there too, but they're not too big. The fabric is quite soft. This is a thin terry fabric which means it looks like regular t-shirt material on the outside but has thicker loops on the inside. It's comfortable to wear and he loves it. Colors as in the photo.

I'm really starting to like this Kid Nation clothing brand. Light, comfortable and a very good size. My boys love these shorts! Perfect for playing, walking and even sleeping. The only downside is that they don't have laces. So keep that in mind when choosing your sizes. Generally good quality shorts and at a good price!

It's a thicker cotton than most. They are well made and run large. We've been wearing Kid Nation for a while now and they have proven their commitment to quality materials and quality construction. They are very well made and also gender neutral.

These are very durable and very comfortable shorts. They are 100% true to size and the camo pair doesn't fade much after the first wash. I definitely recommend them, especially for the price.

Comfortable set of 2 shorts. My son wears a size 10 pair of shorts and the size fits perfectly as we ordered a size L in camouflage and heather grey. They are lightweight and have an elastic waistband. Happy with the product!

My son would give these 5 stars because they are very comfortable and he likes to wear them. Except for the elastic waistband, they have survived several washes well. It spins! I massaged the rubber band in place. To be honest I'm not sure my son will even notice, but it worries me. I think just a few stitches will fix it, but the fact that I have to pull the needle out and threaten it earns one star.

These shorts fit true to size and are made from a comfortable, soft cotton material. The camouflage print shorts are a little rough on the outside due to the patterned print. I washed the gray pair the same way I normally wash children's clothes - a warm water washer and low temperature dryer. I left the camouflage shorts out of the wash to compare shrinkage. It has slightly shrunk after a single wash, but is minimal and not noticeable when worn.

These are not my kids' favorite shorts. Kid Nation tends to run smaller so I increased the size. Although they are too big now. Besides that, they don't particularly like her. My 8 year old usually loves Kid Nation stuff so I was a bit surprised he didn't like it. He said he didn't really like the way she looked. He also said they're a little comfortable, but not by much.
