🚪 KidCo G1300 White Auto Close Gateway - Designer Edition Review

I was happy to order this gate as it looked a bit more stylish than the standard metal or plastic poles that most gates are made of. I was very satisfied with the easy assembly of the gate. I like that the gate closes automatically after you go through it. The only criticism of the gate is that the open spaces are wide enough for our very small dog to walk between the slats. I did not offset this against the product as it is not advertised as a pet gate.

This is the nicest baby gate we've had to date (we have an open floor plan with lots of doors that we close when baby is out). Unlike our other goals, these goals are made of mesh, which is more convenient for kids when they accidentally fall off. They also can't get their limbs through (our niece managed to get stuck in a regular baby gate so it's a much safer option). The mesh panel is removable and can be washed if necessary. Pros:- Gate widths vary from 29" to 37" but extensions must be fitted for wider openings. The fabric thickness is only 2 inches - adjustable screws have a rubber head where they touch the wall. Cons: - The gate isn't square and the gate doesn't snap into place. The gate must be level for it to snap into place. It takes a lot of force/pressure to hold it in place. I really like this gate number one because I didn't have to drill holes in my door frame. I also like that you don't have to climb over it because it has a gate that you can open, leave open or close. The installation took me some time, but once I understood everything, I got up as described in the instructions. Some parts fit together perfectly and when you use additional panels there are parts that you end up not using. I'm not sure if it was just me, but somehow I found that a bit confusing.
