Pirate 🏴 Raincoat by Kidorable Review

We ordered 6/6x because we knew it would be big but for kids you really have to buy a little more to get everything. It's well made and he loves it, plus it matches his boots. It's a little thick so it'll be great in chilly fall rains. He's worn it in the summer rain without complaining, so I like it too. The colors are very bright and the eye patch was a big surprise.

The zipper on this raincoat is adorable, but it broke after only wearing it twice! I was left with a crying five-year-old and tailors who wouldn't touch the coat because they said vinyl didn't take repairs. I warn all parents, don't buy a raincoat with plastic zippers! The price I paid for this was to offer a better product. I ask the company to invest in metal zippers on their jackets or use snaps or velcro to prevent breakage after such short use.

First I ordered size 3T and my son wears size 2T. I'm glad I did! This coat fits his chest perfectly in 3T, although the arms are a bit long. I was not sent a coat in the photo! See the pretty red stripes and shiny metal studs along the collar and coat (and even in the written description!)? They didn't send me that! The coat I received had blue stripes and no metal rivets. There's not even a patch of paint where the rivets were, just a plain brown collar and cuffs that don't really stand out…
