Poor quality brackets, splints and supports

I have been using K-Tape for several years now. Great product, really therapeutic. This precut knee kit smelled musty when taken out of the box and the glue was of very poor quality. A few hours after application it started to peel off. I've never had this with any other k-tape I've bought.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Long delivery time

I love that it's pre-cut and the instructions are easy to read.

I felt a difference when running uphill - more support which was good. The only negative was that after about 6 miles it stopped sticking and started falling off. I'm not sure if it was the product or if I didn't apply it correctly. This was the first time I tried the product. I would try again.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Leave on for 2-3 days, even when showering

Relieves pain. Physiotherapists use it and I bought it as a gift for a friend. Instructions for the knee problem were included. If your physical therapist shows you how to use it, even better. You can't hang it on your back for obvious reasons. There are some helpful videos on U Tube. Does not replace a visit to a doctor, physiotherapist or surgeon.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Not sure if this works as intended

I may have applied them incorrectly. I wanted them because of my knee problems and I've seen all the pro athletes use them. So I tried these. watched online videos to see how to use them and tried them out. They are light and you hardly feel them. However, I didn't notice any difference when playing them in tennis. I no longer need them as I have replaced both knees.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Unsure

A lot of money for something that can only be used once

You must be absolutely sure that nothing is squeaky on your skin and that it is clean and, as the instructions say, you cannot change position. You have one chance and only one chance. That's a lot of money to spend on what you really need to hang up the phone first. I think it helped me? I only used it for maybe one night before I went to the doctor and gave myself an injection in my knee. I didn't use physical therapy, ice and anti-inflammatories were my treatments.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Compatibility

Worked great! on Kinesiology Recovery Tapes

I've had knee pain from running and cycling for about 2 years. I've tried knee pads and braces but they didn't work very well or were too tight for me to run. I finally decided to try this because a friend recommended it. It helped a lot with the pain. When I walk, I hardly feel any pain in my knees. The instructions were easy to follow and the application was easy. For me it took about 3 days. I also tried KT Tape but thought Kinesio worked better. The only downside of this product is that it…

Great for those who just want to try Kinesio

Glad Kinesio has precut tape and instructions. I wasn't too keen on buying a whole roll and only using it a few times because I used the wrong length. The pre-cut strips are for knee support in general and not for specific knee issues. They stayed whole for 2-3 days before one of the strips came off. I wish Kinesio Tex Gold Tapes were precut as they last longer (one application lasted over a week). I bought two packs for the knee application. After searching the internet for information on how…
