So Far So Good - Exercise Bikes and Accessories

This helped install the REI Co-Op ARD 1.3 Road Bike on the Travel Trac. The fit was snug, but it was almost perfect after finding the best spot to add one of the included pads. Took a minute to fix everything but I'm not complaining because this part isn't designed for the much cheaper machine I'm using it on. The price is definitely a bit high, but since it's the only one that works, I'm willing to pay taxes on the "special part".

It does exactly what it says it will do. It's a bit long on my Cyclops Fluid 2, but I can fit the bike on a 1.4" tire. However, the price is absolutely absurd for what you get. These are two very simple chiseled parts that would probably cost Kinetic $6-8 even with the finish and packaging. This kit doesn't even have spacers - it's just a fancy bolt and nut. This is NOT a $50 part - it should go for $25-$30 max. Heck, even the much more complex DT Swiss RWS thru-axles (which have a positionable

Fiction! featured in bike trainers and accessories

Purchased for use on a 12x142 thru-axle cross bike as a pre-race warm-up. Works perfectly. You will need a 6mm hex wrench for the non-drive side and then an 18mm box end wrench for the drive side. Although, to be honest, I believe that for a 20-minute warm-up, one hand pull will suffice, as I do. I bought the medium one which is Shimano standard (1.50mm). Rock Shox (maxle) trucks are coarse (1.75mm pitch) while Syntace uses 1.00mm pitch (fine). So make sure you order the right thread. Otherโ€ฆ
