I switched from DirecTV to Dish and needed my King satellite dish to work with Wally/Dish. The instructions are a bit vague. It turned out to be as easy as the instructions say and I made it harder than it actually was. Just set your device to tailgater mode, leave it on and wait for it to turn on and start working. There is sometimes a slight delay when switching channels when it needs to lock onto one of the other satellites. Nice pic! It's nice to have HD while wallowing in the desert.

We bought these for our camper. After connecting, the red light was constantly on. As it was a public holiday we couldn't reach anyone on the phone number provided so we tried to find something online to help us to no avail. When we finally contacted someone during office hours, she said it was strange but it could mean our satellite dish was out of order. The product worked exceptionally well with the handheld "King" which I had connected to my receiver via a 100ft cable. I now have a dual system and only need to connect one cable or the other depending on when my caravan is parked (either under trees or outside). Well the first one didn't work! couldn't catch the NBA Finals on ABC from a houseboat on Mother's Day. Wasn't sure about purchase when 5 out of 8 initial reviews had one star because the controller was NOT working!
