These are good quality pencils especially for the price and come with a carrying case. I like the color choice but didn't feel like 2 greens would fit, especially without the red. They are well sharpened and blend well when wet to give a watercolor effect. We have some cheaper water color pencils that we bought from Michaels, they are not as smooth and smudge resistant as these Kingart water color pencils. I expected the same quality (because the price is comparable) but these are much better. With our smaller watercolor pencils, the lines of the drawing are still clearly visible even after applying water, even lightly applied lines do not merge.
