These 12 watercolor pencils from the Kingart range are well made and ensure a subtle but inspiring flow of colour. The trick is to paint the image on watercolor paper first, THEN use a water brush to thin and spread the colors. If you've never done this before, practice a little and you'll learn. On the other hand, there are only 12 pins (and none of them are red!). Luckily, Kingart also makes pencil cases for 24 and 48. However, for those just looking, this set makes a great starter kit. And the price is quite reasonable. I give this 4.5 stars (because there is no red color) but round up to five because I like the quality.
