Product Characteristics

The KingDian M.2 NGFF SSD offers exceptional performance and reliability, making it an ideal choice for upgrading your desktop PCs and MacPro. With its NGFF (M.2) SATA 6.0Gb/s interface, this solid state drive delivers efficient transmission speeds of up to 560MB/s, ensuring lightning-fast data transfers. Whether you're gaming or working with resource-intensive applications like Photoshop (PS) and Adobe Illustrator (AI), the KingDian M.2 SSD guarantees smooth and rapid loading times without any noise disruptions, thanks to its quiet running and anti-shock features. Its compatibility with various operating systems, including Windows, Unix, Linux, and Mac, makes it a versatile storage solution for a wide range of users.

Similar Products Comparison

When it comes to high-performance storage solutions, the KingDian M.2 NGFF SSD stands out from the crowd. Let's compare it to other similar products in the market. The Samsung EVO 970 and Western Digital Black SSDs are popular options, but they often come with a higher price tag. In contrast, the KingDian M.2 SSD offers a competitive edge with its impressive read and write speeds, while remaining budget-friendly. Additionally, the Kingston A2000 SSD is another contender, but it lacks the extensive compatibility that the KingDian M.2 SSD provides. When you weigh performance, price, and versatility, the KingDian M.2 NGFF SSD emerges as a top choice.

Key Problems Solved

In the past, traditional hard disk drives (HDDs) were widely used in computers, but they suffered from slow data access speeds and were prone to mechanical failures. The KingDian M.2 NGFF SSD addresses these issues effectively. By utilizing the SATA 6.0Gb/s interface, this SSD offers blazing-fast data transmission, ensuring quicker boot times and seamless application launches. Furthermore, its solid-state design eliminates moving parts, making it resistant to shocks and vibrations, which commonly affect traditional HDDs. With the KingDian M.2 SSD, you can bid farewell to sluggish performance and mechanical failures, enjoying a smooth and reliable computing experience.

Important Parameters to Consider

Before opting for the KingDian M.2 NGFF SSD, it's essential to consider some key parameters. The capacity options available, ranging from 120GB to 1TB, cater to various storage needs, making it easier to find the perfect fit for your requirements. Additionally, the SSD's 2280 form factor ensures compatibility with most modern desktop PCs and MacPro systems. The SATA 6.0Gb/s interface guarantees efficient data transfers, and its backward compatibility with SATA2(3.0Gb/s) ensures adaptability with older systems. For those who value high-speed performance and ample storage space, the KingDian M.2 SSD ticks all the right boxes.

Waste of Money! in my review

Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say that this internal component is a complete waste of money. The only good thing is that it fits seamlessly in the MacPro, but the performance is extremely disappointing. The speed is slow, and the system keeps lagging. Don't expect any substantial improvement in processing time. Save your money and go for something else.

Pros
  • Fast read and write speeds for improved performance.
Cons
  • Nothing here

Error less than 2 weeks

Cloned my old drive and installed this one. Worked well for about 2 weeks, then a drive error occurred, after another 12 hours the computer would no longer boot. My guess is that the boot sector area of the hard drive has failed. Sent back for a refund.

Pros
  • 4. Efficient transmission, maximum transmission rate up to 560MB/s; fast loading during games and opening large applications (such as PS, AI); quiet running, no noise; anti shock;
Cons
  • Can I add something?
