🚲 KINGOU Ergonomic Leather Handlebar Grips for Bicycle/Fixed Gear/Mountain/Folding Bike - Double Lock-on Bar Grip with Optimal Design Review

This is a terrible product! They don't stay on the handlebars and the stupid end caps get lost so I had to superglue them to the rest of the grip. All they do is look pretty. But who needs a nice pair of handlebars when they're dead with their knobs flying off mid-ride? DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE!

One of the grip caps did not snap but it may have been my installation error. Also, it's just shiny plastic, not metal like I thought. I would have given that 3 stars but one day I got a pretty gross smudge and completely smashed my handlebars but these knobs just stuck together like nothing happened just a few scratches so you have to give them credit.

As mentioned, these grips are HARD. The black lining isn't rubbery like the grips themselves, it's a plastic tube, similar to the Shop-Vac's extension tube, that doesn't move at all. However, as others have pointed out, they look great when installed as long as they match the style you're going for. In other words, they fulfill the role better than no grips at all, while still having an appealing look for a particular style - pure aesthetics.

I installed these bars on my cruiser and they fit very well and look fantastic. High quality chrome plated plastic, fashionable and easy to install. I had no problems loosening or shifting the handlebars, and have put a lot of effort into these grips. The main thing is not to over-tighten the mounting screws as the chrome rings are plastic, but the final look looks like a much more expensive grip. This customer is very satisfied and would buy these pens again at any time.

The handles are not very comfortable to use. LOOKS fantastic and if I were just admiring my bike from 10ft I would give this 5 stars. But the driving experience .blah! The photo gives the impression that the handles have some padding, but NO! No padding, medium grip, feels cold (unlike leather which feels comfortably warm under the palm). Choose skin if you can, if not, at least people will look at you with admiration.

I recently purchased Kingou bike grips and was very disappointed. The pens were of very poor quality and felt cheap. The caps didn't fit the outside of the grips, indicating poor workmanship. I ended up buying new more expensive grips but when I tried to remove the Kingou grips the hex bolts were completely ripped off so I couldn't get them off! I spent the better part of 2 hours ripping the handlebars off my bike. I would avoid this product like a grim death.
