This is by far the best ground clamp to replace the ground clamp on a MIG welder.

I bought this to enlarge the floor on my cheap port freight MIG (flux core) welder. It changed the world. In the past I've had trouble penetrating steel 3/16 gauge or thicker properly. But not everything runs smoothly even with a 50 meter extension cable.

Quality control may not be perfect.

The only benefit is easy installation. My clamp was ordered "new open box" but now I know why it was opened. This was clearly a throwback and was brought back for being molded with a giant air pocket at the end of the main clamp! It looks like the end of the jaw is going to snap catastrophically with normal intended use!

Very misleading advertising

Very misleading advertising. It looks like you have two clamps, but really only one. If you reread the questions and the entire ad, there is no place where the seller advertises a single clip, only customer comments say you only get one. Very disappointed, I could have spent a little more and got two clips for what I paid for one

No Tweco welder

I was expecting a Tweco grounding clamp and didn't really think about the small difference in price to another website that sells Tweco clamps. It was convenient to order this one. What has arrived is a different brand. It has a shiny finish, silver hinge pin, and manufacturing lugs that run down the inside of the jaws (perpendicular to the molars). The ribs limit the contact area. They can be filed, but I don't have to, and it shouldn't be advertised as a Tweco brand ground clamp. It's still a
