Description of Double-Sided Screwdriver by Kings County Tools
RETRO TOOL – This non-electric and environmentally friendly drilling option will bring some sentimental feelings while performing small job ideally. PLENTY OF BITS - The plastic handle will hold the 4 Torx, 2 Hex, 3 Philips, 3 Slotted and 2 Square bit for convenient storage and easy access. SMOOTH OPERATION - Easier on the hands and wrists than a typical screwdriver, it effectively tightens screws in a variety of settings. SLIM DESIGN – Reach those tight spaces without contorting as this battery-free option fits nicely in your hands and your toolbox. VERSATILE HAND TOOL - The rotating aspect allows for pushes rather than twists to secure screws into walls, wood or other areas while the three-position selector takes the turn out of your hands.
It's not the smoothest of tools, but I sprayed it with silicone and it helped the tip rotate. I think that with use any roughness will become smooth. The hex tip is a little deep to accommodate the included double-ended short bits, so regular short bits go too deep. They stick out far enough to be useful but are about to disappear into the hole. Bits with a longer shank work well. The handle offers space for bits and a pair of (future) drill bits. My old one had 3 bits with traditional Yankee…
es. - It does not replace the shock absorber. But drill a pilot hole first and you're good to go. In fact, its real use is to remove and replace screws from existing holes on things like electrical boxes, socket covers, etc. It works well as a replacement for an electric screwdriver - no more dead batteries. I have a backpack with a tool kit that I use for off site maintenance. The tool backpack is practical and well filled for various maintenance/repair jobs. I needed a drill for the starting screws and sometimes a mounting hole. Carrying another tool bag with a drill or screwdriver always complicates things. I used this type of push drill when I was a kid, played around with dad's tools, never paid much attention to the tool or utility until I watched a few videos and was impressed with Epiphany.
