The center handle (deflector) was smooth on the inside. It didn't have the grooves to fit the splines to attach it to the faucet.

There were a few spots that showed brass. The packaging was done wrong to save the product. Otherwise it looks great and works great.

I like everything about it except the position of the clock on the handles. I can't get them both straight down to the off position, since once they're done they have to be indexed to the next label, which takes them too far or not far enough, meaning they don't look symmetrical, which I find worried for something - it's so expensive. However, it is beautiful and appears to be well made.
