I love this watch! I've always wanted a cuckoo clock ever since my mother in law had one. I finally have one. This is wonderful craftsmanship. Me and my husband both enjoy it. We love looking at it and hearing all the beautiful songs.

The watch is a delight to look at. The sound is terrible, the "cuckoo" recording isn't always right and sometimes the music doesn't play afterwards. He will also stop mid-game.

Very well made little clock. I cannot fault this item. It exceeded my expectations for the price. Everything works well and is easy to set up. The kids love it. I made a protective box with plexiglass window to cover it with a grid on the wall for the sound to come out as little fingers will damage it soon.

Got this as a Christmas present to replace the black forest cuckoo I had for years. The person who bought it thought it was hand-wound and was surprised to learn that batteries were needed. The clock shows the exact time and sometimes plays a short song after the hour announced by the double cuckoo. These are beautiful watches.

The first time you used it, it was a HIT, but then the cuckoo didn't call the number of hours - it cuckooed any number of times, accompanied by very pleasant music. Then the cuckoo stopped sticking out, it just didn't stick out all the time. So I send the watch back and opt for a made in Germany one, yes, more expensive, but these cheap ones didn't fit!

This watch is beautiful! You can tell that care was taken in the construction. It may not be the highest quality wood, but they made the best of what they had. We bought this for our little one who is obsessed with clocks and that is one of the main reasons he plays music after the cuckoo. You can turn off the music if you prefer just the cuckoo, or leave it on silently. As the clock is battery operated, the weights are made of nicely painted plastic and are for aesthetics only.
