Great product for the price

Great value. After confirming the installation dimensions, I received incorrect information and had to return the product. I would suggest checking for consistency with other sources before purchasing.

Pros

Cons
  • Not bad but...

Worked great in carburetors and parts

I bought two for my 1947 223cc Ford Ratrod. inch and double carburetor manifold. I've been a mechanic for 40 years and these carburetors perform better than any I've ever used and were very reasonably priced. Many Thanks.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Reliability

Manufactured Wrong item for part

These carburetors are not manufactured correctly. The problem with them is that the vacuum port on the side of the carburetor pulls 5-10psi at idle at 500rpm. The perforated vacuum port must not generate a vacuum when idle. It's not a single carb problem, I've tried 3 of them.

Much better than the Carter YFA

I have a 63 f100 that has 200ci and .60 over the 269. I had a Carter YFA and it worked fine but when the engine came out of the break-in period it caught at high water, too much cfm. I had a 170sp engine with a YF crankcase and rebuilt it but it ran very poorly and without the help of YFAS parts it would not accelerate let alone idle. I soon found this carburetor and was reluctant to buy it as I've never had good luck buying carburetors. But trust me! When I installed it, filled the fuel tank…

Great carburetor: carburetor

I installed this carburetor on a 1964 Scout 80 replacing a leaking 1904 Holley. I knew in advance that the connection was the opposite of my existing setup, but I was up for the challenge. Installation went well but I noticed that the supplied gasket could not be used as the 'X' allowed air to enter between the manifold and the base. After installation I found that the fuel tank float was sticking and not letting fuel into the tank (either factory or when shipped). With that settled, the old…

  • Absolutely amazing!

Great Budget Carburetor

Was a little nervous about purchasing this carburetor but was pleasantly surprised after installing it on a '57 Ford 223 with an automatic load balancer. Who's been in the woods for the last 20 years. The engine worked, but the original Holley 1904 was history. Bought as a replacement and started right away. I didn't have to swap out the carburetor bases for the stock power valve ones. Worked immediately. Took it for the first ride and was pretty springy with that new carb. The only issue I had
