Glass Marbles *very small*, about 1/8 inch in diameter and more like coarse sand than gravel. The amber color is also a very dark brown, not orange. Not worth returning but this is not the product shown in the photos.

This is a SCAM! These tiny pieces of glass do not look like the beads advertised! The picture of the beads in the description they hold is so deceptive! That's cheating! Now I'm having trouble returning all three bags, thanks!

These pebble sized pieces of beach glass are perfect for aquariums and look especially good with natural grey/slate pebbles. They have no sharp edges and add just the right amount of sparkle and interest to the bottom of the tank, creating the feel of a river flowing through the landscape.

These stones look great in an aquarium. They are smooth and transparent and have excellent color. I have a 5 gallon tank and I used 2 bags but could probably use 2 or 3 more. They are a bit pricey for the quantity you get but the quality seems worth the price. We also had an algae problem with some other aquarium stones, but these remained algae-free for the past few months.

This is a very thin decorative aquarium glass. If you plan to use it as a substrate, you will be disappointed with the quantity. If you use it for decorative purposes in addition to the substrate, I think you will be very happy with it. I think there's probably around 1-1.5 jars in a bag.
